First-aid, step by step.

    Rinse with warm salt water
    Gently swish to clean the area — do not scrub.

    Cold compress outside
    10 minutes on / 10 off to reduce swelling.

    Take a safe painkiller
    Paracetamol as per label. Avoid aspirin on bleeding sites.

    Preserve any broken piece
    Store tooth/fragment in milk or saliva — bring it in.
